* Seating for up to ~120 guests

* Informal & elegant outdoor tone

Things to know: 

* Your ceremony space is reserved, however Brookside Gardens is not closed to the public. This location does not offer privacy. Park visitors may see your union.

* Plan for blooms — peak cherry blossoms are seasonal and draw visitors. Consider an early ceremony to capture the best light and quieter gardens.

 🌳 Woodland Glen — Nature’s Secluded Ceremony Spot

Woodland Glen has a wonderful intimate forested feel. It’s nestled among towering trees and beautiful views. 

This site offers: 

* Seating for up to ~100 guests

* A tranquil atmosphere, making it ideal for couples seeking a fantasy forest whimsical wedding vibe

Things to know: 

*This site is shaded with natural ground; keep shoe options in mind for you and your guests. 

*There is no electricity within this area. Please make sure your vendors are aware!

*If you have a ceremony welcome table, you may want to offer some insect repellent stickers or repellent choices. 

🌿 South Terrace — Outdoor Elegance with Style

South Terrace - Brookside Gardens

South Terrace is used for ceremonies & receptions! The bistro string lights, water fountain, and surrounding greenery brings a chic garden vibe to your wedding day.

This site offers:

* Seats up to ~120 guests

* The terrace is beautifully paved which makes it ideal for either ceremonies, cocktail hours, or an outdoor reception. 

* This site is located at the Visitors Center, which is closest to the parking lot and restrooms. 

Things to know:

*You are able to see this location from the parking lot. This location has the shortest walking distance.

🌿 Yew Garden — Classic Garden Ceremony Setting

If you’re seeking a timeless classic botanical wedding location the Yew Garden delivers! 

Yew Garden - Brookside Gardens

This site offers:

* Classic garden vibe formed by clipped hedges making this location feel private

* Ceremony space for up to 120 guests with views of an elegant sculpture, water fountain, and symmetrical greenery as your backdrop 

Things to know: 

*The Yew Garden structure makes it perfect for aisle decor. The aisle and altar ground are paved stones. 

*This location is the farthest distance from the Visitors Center. Your guest will see the majority of the gardens! 

No matter which outdoor space - Here are a few things all couples should know before booking:

📅 Reserve Early: Brookside Weddings book far in advance, especially Spring and Fall weekends. 

📸 Permits & Photography: Brookside Gardens requires a photo permit for photography. Please make sure your vendors are aware!

☀️ Seasons Matter: Spring brings cherry blossoms and azaleas, summer has lush greenery, and fall shows dramatic foliage across the gardens — plan your date with blooms and guest comfort in mind. **What if it rains on my wedding day? Brookside offers indoor Plan B options. 

🍽️ Vendors: You will need to book your caterers and vendors (licensed and insured). Check with the event staff at Brookside Gardens for their preferred vendor list- for vendors that have previously executed beautiful weddings there!
